Rodney is very excited to be returning to the Bay Area this summer after six years in northern Vermont. Portola Valley holds special memories for him. From 2008 to 2016 he led the Aquatics Department at Alpine Hills where he formed strong local ties. Rodney will bring decades of club and recreational programming experience to Ladera. He is focused on maintaining the unique culture at the LRD while preparing for an exciting future. Rodney’s wife Melanie will continue her work in higher ed study abroad. Their children Rio (14) and Aviana (12) are eager to reconnect with California cousins and old friends this summer. Rodney looks forward to meeting all of the members at the LRD, and in the greater community, very soon.
