Water Polo Clinics with Jack Bullard & Lucy Gostyla

About the Coaches:

Jack Bullard is currently the Captain of the MA Boys Varsity Water Polo & Swim Team, as well as the Ladera Dolphins Head Coach. He is passionate about water polo and inspiring the next generation of polo players.

Lucy Gostyla is a long time Dolphin, competitive surfer & LA County Junior Lifeguard; she is currently in her second season on the MA Varsity Girls Water Polo team.

Dates/Times: 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, 2/15

Registration required, max 12 participants per clinic and ability level. 

Beginner Clinic for ages 7-10yrs 

Clinic #1-3 :

• Fundamental movements: Egg beating & dynamic water polo movement
• Water polo swimming: Different than lap swimming
• Ball handling fundamentals: passing, dribbling, shooting

Clinic #4 :

• Game warm up & passing/shooting games

Intermediate Clinic for ages 10-12yrs 

Clinics Focuses: Revisit fundamentals: dribbling, egg beating, swimming, ball handling etc.

Clinic # 2:

•  Driving and posting up offense
• Defense and shotblocking

Clinic #3:

• Setup front court
• Basic offensive scrimmage games

Clinic #4:

• Real game warmup
• Scrimmage & game simulations
