August 15-21 During these early days of the project, the constuction areas must be prepped and a ramp must be built so that large equipment can be brought onto the pool deck. Below are a few photos showing: the contractor's office and construction equipment storage at the LRD, the pool being drained, and the baby pool trellis being dismantled so that trucks can drive through there next week. You are still able to drive up and park in the spots nearest the playground but be prepared to walk around the perimeter to access tennis courts and other areas of the LRD.
Beginning Tuesday, August 23 through Labor Day Monday, September 5 there will be very heavy machinery coming in and out of the LRD parking lot. We strongly recommend that you steer clear of the road and parking lot, and consider using other playgrounds in the area during that 2-week window. Tennis and Pickleball players should park on Andeta and walk up, or park on Cuesta and walk the trail.
