Linden Hamilton: Hello, my name is Linden and I’m super excited to be teaching lessons this summer at the pool. You can find me on the pool deck coaching both Ladera Dolphins and teaching private lessons this summer. The pool has a big place in my heart and ever since I was little it has been my mission to someday give back the confidence and tips other coaches gave me at Ladera to kids. A little more about me, I currently attend Saint Francis High School where I play water polo and am on the swim team at varsity level. I have been coaching swimming for about 4 years. I have had the privilege to be coached by many great coaches who give me the tips that I use in my swim lessons. When a kid signs up for my lessons I will personalize and create a timeline that includes goals that themselves (or parents) want to reach that leaves you with a positive experience!
Emma Williams: Hi! I'm Emma, and I've been teaching swim lessons and coaching swim team for two years. I swam competitively for four years, and did summer swim for five years. I am a Sophomore at Santa Clara University where I major in Child Studies and Psychology. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and fun learning environment for my students. I hope my students walk away from our lessons with a smile on their face, and a greater love and appreciation for the water!
Ethan Harrington: Hello! My name is Ethan and I am excited to teach lessons this summer! I am going to be a freshman at Stanford this fall and will be on the men's swim team. I've been swimming competitively for ten years, I have two state records, and I am the fastest 18 year old in the country in the 50 freestyle. I want to help young swimmers enjoy being in the water as much as I do and have a fun environment to learn how to swim!
Lucy Worden: I started my swimming as a small 5-year-old in the diving well of Ladera Rec and continued to swim year-round with PASA through high school. This is my second year teaching lessons (I was the Dolphin Head Coach last year and have been coaching since I was 14) and am comfortable teaching all levels. I am so excited to help kids experience how amazing the sport of swimming is!
Jocelyn Chang: Hi! I’m Jocelyn Chang, I am a sophomore in Menlo-Atherton high school and I love swimming. I have swam competitively for almost ten years at PASA Alpine Hills and have coached the summer swim team Alpine Hills Mantarays and the Los Trancos Summer Swim Camp for two consecutive years. My coaching philosophy is for the kids to enjoy the water, learn the correct technique and have a tons of fun! Can’t wait for LRD’s swimmmers to live, laugh, and love swimming! Outside of being in the water, I played indoor and beach volleyball competitively and enjoy listening to all kinds of music.
Addison Finn: Hi! I’m Addison and I'm going to be a sophmore at Castilleja in the fall. I started swimming when I was five years old on Ladera Dolphins, and I instantly fell in love with the sport. I wanted to continue swimming year-round, so I started swimming competitively for PASA (Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics), and now have been swimming there for ten years. I’ve been coaching summer swim team and summer swim school for two years, and I really enjoy helping kids become comfortable being in the water. I love teaching all levels of swimming, whether it’s learning the four strokes or improving technique. My goal is for kids to love being in the water, and I'm super excited to help kids see how fun swimming is!
