With lyrics of Puccini, Rossini, Verdi, and Donizetti's most famous arias and everyday dialogues and situations, you'll learn from scratch (or enhance) your Italian in an innovative and fun way.
Ideal for operatic singers and enthusiasts, "Learning Italian with Operas" is great for everyone who wants to visit Italy and speak the language. You'll work on pronunciation, listen to and recreate daily conversations, reflect on grammar, and read stories and anecdotes on music topics to enrich and integrate knowledge. Since arias play a vital role in the course, some grammatical structures and lexicon that are usually introduced later on in most language classes are anticipated here. This makes "Learning Italian with Operas" a great choice not only for absolute beginners, but for those who have some previous Italian skills as well. The course is not based on contrastive analysis and serves any language background.
